Patricia A. Marston is a writer, mental health coach, and founder of Beyond The Sunset LLC. Her work is shaped by personal loss and her desire to help others who feel alone in their grief. She is a three-time bestselling author on Amazon and the proud mother of one son, Bradley Benjamin Reid, whose short life became the reason Patricia began her mission to comfort others.
Patricia was born and raised in Jamaica. She is the second of three siblings. Her early values were shaped by her parents, who taught her to put God first and to live with love and respect. She studied Management Studies at the University of the West Indies, and after moving to the United States in the early nineties, she continued her education at the University of Massachusetts and later at Medgar Evers College in New York, where she earned a degree in Biology.

She is also a graduate of the Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program at eCornell University and is a Board Certified Master Mental Health Coach. But behind the degrees and certifications is a mother who learned the hardest lessons through pain.
In 2001, Patricia lost her only child, Bradley, after a long medical battle. He passed away at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. Patricia was left with deep grief, sleepless nights, and declining health. She felt helpless and hopeless. For a while, she wanted to disappear. It was only through time, therapy, and faith that she found her way back.
With help from the Met Council on Jewish Poverty, she received counseling that helped her return to daily life. Slowly, she began to write. Her first book honored her son. That book became the beginning of something bigger. Patricia built a website, started a blog, and opened her business. Through Beyond The Sunset LLC, she now supports others who are mourning. She offers books, clothing, mugs, and gifts with words like Loving You and Remembering You. These small items are meant to bring comfort to people in pain.

Patricia uses her own story to guide others. She understands grief because she has lived it. She offers a safe space for people to talk and heal. She listens without pressure and reminds others that they are not alone. Her blog shares real feelings and quiet encouragement. Her work is personal, simple, and full of care.
She is currently involved in two book projects. One is Black Diamond Volume Two, led by Dr. Iris Wright. The other is The Fire We Carry, with Jawad Araf Khan. These books will add to her growing collection of stories that bring people together through shared experience.
Success2Success International Magazine is proud to include Patricia A. Marston in our Hall of Fame. She has taken the most painful part of her life and turned it into a way to support others. Her words are steady and sincere. Her presence is a reminder that healing is possible and that love does not end, even when someone is gone.
